Banjo: Beautiful people. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning excited for another week of football excited for another week of football to put last week to bed Very very thankful and proud of the guy is proud of the guys the way they went out perform last week Definitely looking forward to improving some of the things when we talk about our standard And we're excited to have an opportunity it gets a good Packers team, you know coming into town for our first home game.
Reporter: What's your mindset about facing that team?
Banjo: I think you spent four seasons there when you see those colors and that tradition It means a lot I mean for me personally right when you talk about how fortunate I was I was to be able to play for a team like That that organization that history But in regards of coming up this week, honestly, there's just another opponent, you know looking forward to our guys You know putting our brand on tape that we talk about and you know holding our standards to where we see it being a Similar with the Mario talked about I think everybody was able to you know, kind of talk about that He talked about putting brand on tape, you know putting our style of play on tape And when you talk about stickers you talk about somebody who's continuing to grow who's continuing to develop He's taken really he's been really really intentional with his professionalism and how he goes about that Working on his tools working on his craft on a day-to-day basis and you start to see some of those things take part You know in the field you see how competitive he is You know how intentional he is on the field. So it's really really exciting to see that grow.
Banjo: I won't discuss I won't discuss exactly what we went into on that, you know in terms of the coaching point on that But one thing I do love is how he took exactly what we talked about in the meeting room and took it right to the field Knowing he was gonna have another opportunity to kind of you know Put that part of it on tape and to see it coming fruition like that. I think was awesome for.
Banjo: So with Jason honestly, I think he had a great a great outing obviously the 50 54 yard, I believe it was 56 Gotta look about that. I got a look at that one again, but It was for But either either way obviously No for sure for sure either way obviously wasn't up to our standards wasn't up to his standards by any means on that I won't necessarily go into exactly what happened on that regardless. We go on the field. We want points We're supposed to get points. That's our standard But what was awesome to see is how we talk about grit all the time resilience all the time in our room Agee's always preaching that message just to see him go back in and hit and nail 250 plus yarders right after that You know with good distance and room despair was was awesome to see.
Banjo: He will be the keeper on assuming going forward this weekend. I'll lead a personnel decisions, you know up to AG But I'll do one thing I can tell you we're very excited about the guys we do have in the building.
Banjo: With groupie last week was it just too was too fast. I mean we didn't have enough time to get you know Settle in with the holder and then the whole operation Again in terms of our process how we go about it I'll kind of keep that in house But one thing I can't say he's been doing a great job hitting the ground running since he's been here really excited about what? He has to offer as well.
Reporter: With that play that stickers made where you push the player back into the returner, you played on special teams on a high level for a long time. How hard is that?
Banjo: That's not easy at all I think it's very very difficult because it's so many things that I think in my opinion a lineup and the opportunity has got to Present itself what we talk about when we do have the opportunity to hit our pitch We got to knock it off the park and with those things are lining up in that in that situation That's me going back to talking about how intentional he's been about being able to identify moments to make plays and be impactful for our team and put his brain on tape and Yeah, everything aligned perfectly for him and he was able to be aware of that situation and make the most of it.
Banjo: Honestly, I can't I can't remember if the ball started to come out or not We always talk about getting hats and you know bodies to the ball, which you know was great job We would love to get him down on the first attempt But something we talked about with our returners as well to just being conscious through the contact zone I think a lot of times ball carriers in general kind of when they did for survive that first hit there's a little lapse of just kind of Relaxation a little bit and then you know that next hit comes in and you know that can kind of jar that ball But either way whether it was coming out or not, we're very very happy with the results. I'll say that.
Banjo: Um dynamic dynamic dynamic guys back there in regards of both the guys they have obviously Scott Moore who's been doing this for a while Then you continue to see both Melton continue to grow continue to progress as a professional and you see these guys Just like I said very very they have a lot of dynamic ability with the speed that they possess both of those guys The guys do a great job, you know opening those lanes in that first game So we're excited, you know for the challenge the opportunity to go put our brand on tape still.
