Duker: Looking forward to getting the page turn the page here and get another game on our bell home first time when it met life. So look forward to that much should be fun.
Reporter: What kind of challenge for your secondary even the way? What was what that's a huge numbers last week. They got a good group?
Duker: Yeah, he's certainly good quarterback and they've got a very good receiving core. So we'll have our hands full. It's a good group. It's a good challenge for guys.
Duker: I think it shows just how smart of a player he is. It's probably a little bit underrated. Like he knows multiple positions on the defense and could easily plug and play with a limited number of reps at a position, which is really impressive.
Duker: Yeah, certainly it's a different, you know answer a little bit by coverage that you're in. But certainly if you're responsible for being on top of a guy, being on top of them is the number one part of it.
Duker: Certainly when you don't offense the safeties in the deep part of the field. So then make sure they're on top of things and playing those deep balls. That's probably the biggest piece of it, but I'd also say up front don't let them give them that much time. So that's the other element of it.
Reporter: Obviously, how would you characterize him as a playful and not just like more generalities, you know, you don't trade secrets away, but because it's a very much just passion. He's talked to us about that a lot getting back to that this year. I'm just curious what you what do you see coming out of his his eyes?
Duker: I'm struggling with that one was thinking but gosh, nothing immediately came to mind. I do think everything that you see about his personality is kind of reflected in that. He's passionate like that kind of shows up, but he's also very diligent.
Duker: He's passionate but in like a controlled sense of what you know, he's calculated with when he does it. He's a very diligent. He puts in a ton of work is trying to understand the offensive coordinator's mindset. So I think it's calculated aggression with him.
Duker: But there's a lot of work that goes into trying to understand the offensive coordinator's mindset and just trying to put our guys in the best position.
Reporter: Is that I mean you guys I'm sure like everybody you want to gain basis in terms of your strategy, but are they vulnerable up front the Packers in your eyes or you know, what you know what did you see working there?
Duker: They got a good group. I know they Minnesota that's kind of their lifestyle a little bit. They're a little bit one-of-one as far as their style of play.
Duker: So I don't know how much that translates week to week, you know. Sometimes things that are good for one defense aren't necessarily good for another because just because they play you differently and things of that nature.
Duker: But they got a good group up front. They've got good coaches there. They've got good players like they'll do a job. They'll have good answers. They consistently do that.
Duker: They've shown that they're out there the entirety of the time. They've been there coach LaFleur and his group was the whole staff does a great job with that. Like they'll have good protection answers.
Duker: Absolutely, I thought his execution overall was good. You know, you saw the pressures and all that he was affecting the quarterback had the sack just the way I'm sure he dreamed it up.
Duker: But you know, so it's good. Didn't I shop execute and think for him is still just kind of understanding the full scheme the defense and like how he can complement other rushes in the group too and some of the blitzes.
Duker: Okay, how can I play off of those? That's probably the next jump for him. He did very well when called upon was super happy with the job he did.
Duker: Continue to expect him to go there and execute and really, I mean, I think that's holds for the defense too. We just kind of expect know like our style of play continues no matter who's in there if you're wearing our jersey man.
Duker: Our style plays gonna show up on tape in it and that did show up on tape. So I was really happy with that from him.
Duker: I mean first just with the group like they got a speed group, right that shows up. We've kind of alluded to the explosive plays earlier.
Duker: That guy has a lot of explosive plays on tape and he also would like one thing that really kind of stands out to me on tape is in addition to the speed you see he's really good with a big strong frame at the catchpoint on even like short routes.
Duker: Like he does a great job like catching a tuck in the slants and tough downs to that kind of stood out to me on tape about him as well.
Duker: Yeah, obviously you saw the pass rush of the great sack on that play like that's who will is man. He's an explosive dangerous rusher. He showed that already does a great job setting edges too and is really improved in that area of his game.
Duker: So I thought he had a really strong first week.
Reporter: With the blitzing that you guys are talking about before from Flores I know you're gonna not gonna tell us what you're gonna do. But how important is the crowd noise the jet fans because one of the issues for Green Bay last week was how loud US backstating is he combined that with an aggressive defense and crowd noise? It can be tough enough. It's how important is the noise that meant life for what you want to do?
Duker: The noise is awesome for us defensively because it limits the ability to communicate. So particularly if you have a look that they need to get something communicated change protection.
Duker: You're just hoping it's so loud they can't hear it and one guy misses it, right? I mean, that's if the fans can do that that is an awesome play that they just made for us right there. So we certainly appreciate that from them.
Reporter: Often times you see a lot of poor tackling early in the season. What do you think about the tackling last week from your unit? Is it feels like throughout the preseason that carrying over to last week you guys have it sound in that area?
Duker: I would agree overall we've been sound in that now. We're not gonna be happy either. So we still miss the few so we're gonna continue to have size our angles.
Duker: I do think overall as a group as far as our like because that's something we track after every game. Like the total numbers for that have been in I wouldn't say good range for us. So we're looking to continue that though.
Duker: That's that's gonna continue being obsessed the ones that we do miss we talked about why we miss those as well.
