Williams: I'm very confident and what makes me confident is the preparation that he takes and also coming up with the game plan. And then just the confidence that he has just coaching it and making sure that we all on the same page. So I'm confident that he's ready.
Williams: Man, a whole lot of film watching. Rudy was the person that watched the most film that I've ever made. I'm talking about offense, defense, from any game, any season. So he always pays attention to tails. So when we get the notes and stuff, it has like the plays on it, but then it also has tails on it too though. So I like that part of it because now you're basically in his head on the field. So you know what they expect, you know what his name is calling him. But you know the reason why he's calling it. And you also have a tail on the offense of like, all right, but this is what I'm looking at. So that's why the preparation is always good. Cuz I know for a fact he watched most film out of any coach I ever made.
Williams: Speed, violence, execution. It's like I always say speed and violence, this number one thing gonna be a whole lot of celebrations out there too. So I'm excited about that.
Williams: Yeah, I think the preseason game that really just gave me, it was a little teaser. Cuz I got the uniform, I don't feel good in my uniform. Made the first play of the defense, so I got energized. And then he was like, all right, get off. So he was like, all right, bet, ain't no get off now. So I'm excited to play a whole game. Excited to watch it all come together. Most definitely excited to see what the guy's got celebration ready, you feel me?
Williams: Every time, man, he's a big energy guy. Comes in every single day, does it, acts like a pro. And on top of that, man, he gonna make sure he's hurt. And if he's not at practice, you're gonna know that he ain't at practice. So that's the biggest thing. So it's a big thing as far as making plays on the field, being the energy guy. So I like, bro, he was a nice addition.
Williams: Really, it starts in the morning. First of all, I give thanks to God about waking me up in the morning. Then on top of that, whatever I'm dealing with at home, whatever I'm dealing with out the field, doesn't matter. As soon as I walk through the door, it's all about energy. I always make it say everybody lifted up, everybody on the same page, positive. So I take that mindset every single day I walk into this building, walk on the field with my boys and stuff. Even getting on the plane, whatever I got going on at home, it doesn't matter because no one cares here, you feel me? I mean, they care, but it's like, when it comes to performance, ain't nobody cares.
Williams: Very important, rushing and covers working together. That's what I think is rushing covers working together.
