Quinn: Yeah, look back on it. I think this is the 11th time now of me and Chris. So no, he's an elite player. And he's been one of the best for a very long time. And he's got a lot of really good moves in his rush that you got to be on it every single time. He gives a bunch of different looks throughout the game. And so that's kind of the like chess match you have to play with him. You know, we're both trying to switch up our timing, switch things up to try to get an edge. You know, he's one of the best players I've played against. So it's always one of those matchups that, you know, it's going to be a fight out there.
Quinn: Yeah, the noise is certainly a factor. And obviously, I'm turning into a bit of an older player. So I've played in quite a few of those still loud environments. So the best thing is having a good operation, you know, in and out of the huddle, try to take advantage of those moments where the crowd isn't into the game. You know, sometimes starting fast in the game can kind of keep the crowd quiet in the beginning. It's certain moments like that. Like, obviously, you know, it's there's going to be a third down. You know, they do the whole third down chant and everyone's getting ready for it. Like, there's going to be moments where it's really loud. And that's where our nonverbal communication will come into handy here. And that's, you know, part of practicing with crowd noise and in getting that operation, you know, figured out, you know, come game time.
Quinn: Yeah, I think with a lot of offensive linemen, the first part is the mental side of the game when it comes to past protection. So it's about having more confidence in where you're putting your feet, where you're putting your hands, you know, learning how to watch tape, watching other people that you want to kind of emulate your game after. Um, those are all types of those are all things that I've kind of figured out over time. But I would say that the biggest part is the mental side of the game. And that's something that Coach Street has really improved upon. Like, not only for me, but us as a group is, you know, the mental side of this game. So being able to have a, you know, a small checklist, you know, in those big passing moments of things that you need to say, that things that you can control and then it's your mind, right? You know, to be your best when it means the most in those types of situations. So I would say the confidence piece of that has been crucial.
Quinn: Yeah, I mean, this is a very tough division. Every game is tough. The biggest thing, you know, going into each season is that you can't remember. You kind of have to have, you know, short term memory. You have to kind of forget about what happened last season because every season is completely different. We have a new team. They have a new team. The division's open for whoever to take at this point. So it's, you know, early in the season and in our divisional games, it's a lot about, you know, proving yourself as a team. And that's something that we have to do again this year. That's just kind of the nature of the beast of the NFL is everyone kind of resets and gets ready for the next season. And so I think we've done a good job resetting. We know that they've done a great job as well. They're a really well coached team. And so it's going to be AFC West football.
Quinn: I'm not really sure what you're trying to. I kind of feel like I feel like I answered it. I'm not sure what else you're trying to get. I don't really hold much emotional attachment to that. We have to go and do it every single year. I look at it as individual things versus the Chiefs have had it for 10 years and now we took it. I don't look at it through that lens. I look at it through each season. And so last year we won it. And so now obviously we want to do that again because to go where we want to go, the first thing you have to do is win your division and then highest seat available and then move forward in that sense. So I understand from your perspective, you're looking at the totality of it. But for me, I'm looking at it at individual seasons.
