Horn: Exciting, I'm super excited. Anytime there's a corner, you bring in an elite pass, Russian and Jalen and make my job a lot easier. And it's good to just have some leadership with Devin Lloyd, a guy who had five picks last year. He make throwing across the field a little bit more difficult for quarterback. So just those two additions alone, it bring a lot of excitement to the group and we're looking forward to going out there and competing.
Horn: Really just moving around, moving around, playing in different spots. Just, I'm excited to coach it, trust me with that, and giving me opportunity to see how I look doing it.
Horn: Just learning from, just a wide receiver, I could take notes to help some other guys. It's definitely different, as you know in the slides, just more space and it definitely challenges you, your football IQ. Like I always felt like my IQ was pretty high, but getting in there, I got to study more at the nickel position. I got to look over my notes two or three times before I come out to practice. Whereas corner, you know it's covered one, two, three, four, you know what you're doing, it's easier. But your job changes a lot on the inside and you got to know what the whole defense doing.
Horn: It did a lot for me. Just like you said, being here going through the ups and downs, I'm used to, once it gets towards those last four, five games, you're not really playing for anything, but the tape, because you're out of the playoff hunt. Last year, it was different with us fighting for the division title and then coming out here round one and seeing the fans, seeing how packed it was. It was my first time seeing a bank like that. And it just shows me what it can get to if we go out there and handle our business and win football games. So I'm looking forward to doing that this year.
Horn: Man, it was super motivating, just to, me and Luke have a little bit of a relationship. So to see him get inducted, see Drew Brees and play with my pops get inducted, it just motivates you knowing that it was a defender in the Panthers jersey that was able to get it done and just motivate you to keep going. Like you're not, everything you think you didn't do, you ain't did enough yet. So just keep going and keep striving. That's what it did for me.
Horn: We got to start fast. You know, to me, that's what I feel like we got to do. We got to start fast. There's no more walking into games and teams thinking, are we playing the Panthers and we sneak up and beat them? Team is going to give us their best shot. I feel like we earned their respect. So we got to go out there and back it up and start games fast and get wins.
Horn: Just how much more crisp it is, it feels like this year, Bryce getting to the top of his job, letting the ball go. I feel like he trusts the receivers more on 50-50 balls, especially T-Mack with a big frame like him. Even if DB got him covered, he technically not covered because he makes so many plays with his body and his hands. And then I feel like people just sleep on all the weapons. We got Coker, great receiver. I feel like Ed's going to come back and have a good year this year. So I'm excited to see those guys working. We didn't have our hands full at this camp, but we got a little bit more to go. So hopefully we end on the winning side.
Horn: I mean, this guy- He's already said a number of times I could tell you, I could paraphrase him. Go ahead. Seat belt, that's what he's been telling me since day one. It'd definitely be a tough cover, but I think I can get the job done. I tell my pops the same thing. And he lied to Uncle Steve and pops, straight line. Well, actually we should get arrested because we would abuse him up and down the field.
