Steichen: All right, I'll start off, the only guy we're rolling out right now is Aston Doolin.
Reporter: Do you have any idea how long Doolin might be out?
Steichen: I doubt right now, week to week.
Reporter: With Anthony, is that just kind of like a minor thing?
Steichen: Yeah, he's good. He just tweaked it, lifting weights. But he's good now. He's going to be back up on time.
Reporter: Alec, the decision to keep him out yesterday, were you just kind of being judicious there?
Steichen: Yeah, just monitoring him. Being smart with him, obviously, it's a long season, so he's got to be smart with him.
Reporter: You envision similar for him this week, or a little bit more?
Steichen: I mean, he's ready to go. He's ready to go. I mean, we'll see how the game plan plays out, but he's ready.
Reporter: Did you have to surprise him about a lesson?
Steichen: I mean, he was paying for my handle as much as he could. Yeah, I mean, he felt good going into it. As he ramped up his reps the last couple of weeks, he felt good having those conversations with him. But he was in a good spot last week. Maybe just rest it.
Reporter: Is that with Buck on the ceiling?
Steichen: Yeah. Buck's always rest on Friday.
Reporter: Shane, any regret in not betting Cam on preseason, or that idea?
Steichen: I mean, you always look back at certain things. And obviously, we made a change there, and we've got to make that thing right. So we went with Cam to start with it. And obviously, we've got to adjust and feel good about Keem doing it now.
Reporter: Shane, you get Cam Taylor back this week. Just what kind of difference do you have?
Steichen: Maybe he can add just a few things. He brings a lot of physicality and toughness to our defense. So it's great to get him back this week. He had a good week of preparation, good week of practice. So excited for him to get out there on Sunday.
Reporter: You're asked earlier in the week about starting the game, the opening script. And then after that, do you look at that as a big focus of like, this is an issue, we need to get better at it? Or do you think it's a little bit just kind of overblown how you do?
Steichen: I'd have to go back and look at the exact numbers of what you're talking about. But yeah, obviously, we do start fast. We have historically started fast. And we've got to continue to do that. We've got to be consistent through for four corners too offensively.
Reporter: Is this Kansas City defense a little bit different from the one you played last year just because they switched out their corners?
Steichen: It's a completely different group. Yeah, they got some new faces, for sure. But the scheme is very similar in what they do. Obviously, they're really good at it. Like I talked about earlier on Wednesday, a lot of different looks they're going to send at us that we've got to be ready for, prepared for. Communication's got to be at a premium on Sunday night.
