Brown: A level of excitement going into the new stadium and knowing how electric that place is going to be, knowing those. It's going to be awesome. I think we got a little taste of that there in preseason in the Carolina, North Carolina. What's the last game you played? Pittsburgh game. When we were fighting to win that game, I think the crowd really came alive. And obviously, it wasn't completely full and we heard the noise and everything was going on there. So I'm looking forward to a packed house and everybody's super excited. Buffalo team's got all day to take off work and prepare themselves and create a rock and roll.
Reporter: How do you guard against buying too much into the crowd and getting too juiced up perhaps to begin with, knowing how juiced up that crowd's going to be?
Brown: I mean, I want to play into it a little bit. I think it's going to help the level play a little bit and especially on defense. Hopefully, everyone's super quiet for offense-wise. But no defense, I'm probably right there with them, getting everybody hyped up. But I'm going to enjoy it for sure. It only happens once. So go out there and enjoy it. But also, don't forget about the task at hand and go out there and play a football game.
Reporter: How much was Sunday about pride coming off of last year's performance?
Brown: I think we all wanted to prove something out there. Me personally, it wasn't who I put on tape last year. I think this year was better. O-line as a whole went from 30 to three pressures to seven. I think you fly back to that game last year. I think you can kind of hang a loss on protection and not keeping Josh upright and give him time. When you affect the quarterback like that in the NFL, you're probably going to be pretty well off. And we had a good plan going in. Those guys play hard. Still super hard defense to prepare for and go out there and play against. But I think we went out there and had a good mindset and Brady guys fired up and we rolled.
Reporter: Josh said he knows the difference in the future. Over here. Yeah. Is that something that you noticed over there?
Brown: I think so. I don't know what they did to it, but there's holes in the ground and not holes, it looks like they punched the greens that looked like over there. And I'm filled with sand, but it's a lot more firm I would say from my opinion and what guys have said, so should be good.
Reporter: You mentioned Brady fired you guys up before the game. What did you notice differently from him in that role first, first game?
Brown: I mean, he's leading the charge. So offense coordinator, I think I said last week, he's not just a voice in Josh's head that we kind of hear he's down there and in it with us. And it was cool to see him in that light and lead the charge for us going out of the locker room and then anything on the sideline that was happening to come over and checking on us and giving us words of encouragement. And I mean, he saw his reaction when the great guy had his strip sack. So he brings a lot of fire, leads with caffeine. And he lets his emotions show. And I think that kind of lets the rest of us let ours show as well.

Reporter: Yeah. Being proud of the protection plan that you guys put together and watching it back on tape, after a game like that, what do you learn about who you have up front and everybody who helps?
Brown: I think there's a lot of questions and Alec stepped in and played really, really well. My favorite clip is obviously on DJ's touchdown when he goes and cleans up to Neil. But Alec brings a fire and I think we all just played together really, really well. I mean, you had Dawson and Hawes and Dalton all blocking the ends on pass play sometimes and held their own. I think someone made the joke that Dawson needs to put on about 50 pounds and try to play tackle. If he ever wants to, he probably can. But I think everyone just played a lot of pride, played together. You know, it was back and forth, but the lead change was nine different times. So don't stay too high, don't stay too low. Just stay right in the middle and play the next play.
Reporter: Joe took his shirt off after the game.
Brown: Yeah, dude's cut. He looks good. I haven't seen him with his shirt off in probably ever. So he's in the gym.
Reporter: That was the question.
Brown: Yeah, it looks good. Joe looks great. He's been in the gym. He worked out a couple times during training camp and stuff like that. And he was legit getting after it, did the whole workout with us a few times. So, in the gym, look good.
Reporter: He used to go from Daniele and Will to Aiden Hutchinson. What challenges does he present, especially on the short week?
Brown: I mean, another top ten pass rusher in the NFL, and you're gonna see those pretty often in the NFL. Like I said, quarterback play, how do you affect that pass rusher? So, good teams have good pass rushers and their defense as a whole plays really well. And I played hutch I think only one time in Detroit. So I look forward to it again. I'm glad he's healthy, bad injury he had last year, but it's good to see him back out there, and I look forward to it.
Reporter: Quite a spin move, and he pulled it off in the game on Sunday. I mean, is he a more complete player now in terms of what he offers?
Brown: Yeah, I think he picks up new stuff every year as the good players do. They lean on what they're good at, but always look for improvements in their own game. And I think he works a lot of stuff well. He knows how to threaten, he knows how to make you panic. And all around great guy off the edge that you won on your team.
Reporter: What did you make of Spencer Howland?
Brown: Yeah, one of my buddies sent me that, I didn't even watch all of it cuz of those videos, I don't even know where it's going, which I think that's the point. And then Jason said something to me, so he called me Spencer Howland. What are you talking about? He's like the video, I was like, okay, so I'll go watch it. And I just sped it up as fast as I could to find it. And I was like, yeah, yeah, I guess I'm a dog.
