Jaxson Dart got five attempts and completed three for 20 yards. When your starter averages 4.1 yards per attempt across 27 throws and a second quarterback gets work in the same afternoon, the depth chart is a suggestion, not a plan.

Darnell Mooney's 48 yards on two catches was the entire downfield passing game. That is a passing offense with no first read it trusts.

Donald was honest about the rust. "Game wasn't as fast as I thought," he said, per NBC Sports. Returns like his come with a calibration period, and he didn't need to be vintage because the opponent handled that part.
My read: the Rams should bank this win without learning much from it. They beat a team whose offense never threatened the intermediate middle of the field, and Donald's presence made a lopsided afternoon feel like a coronation. Fine. Enjoy it. It tells you nothing about what happens when Los Angeles faces a quarterback who can throw on schedule.
The Giants' problem is under center, and no amount of SoFi noise changes it. If Winston is the Week 3 answer, the question was asked wrong in August. I'll take the field over that offense finding itself before November.
