Transcript

Chambliss: I guess you'll just tell me about making that catch and just kind of the celebration there after that. I mean we had practiced it and so we call them first, third and short. We try not to think about it too much and just play football. I mean just execute play.

Chambliss: I know you had done a little bit of pullback at Georgia. Did you ever actually have a carrier catch or did you just walk?

Chambliss: I was just walking tight in college.

Chambliss: Okay. I mean what does that feel like to be able to get a catch? I know it's four yards. Felt good. Felt good.

Chambliss: Someone really wasn't expecting going into the game until we had the game plan in.

Chambliss: Is that something that you, you know, Kale was talking about how he just appreciates that you want to do whatever the team has to do. I mean definitely kind of a blue collar player. Is that something that you pride yourself on?

Chambliss: I mean it's just anything I can do to make myself more valuable for the team. I mean I know exactly what my place is on the team and try and play that role to the best ability that I can.

Chambliss: Is it tough to, you know, you went in on defense I think as well later in the game. Is that tough to kind of switch modes or does that come naturally?

Chambliss: No, I mean I think it's not too bad, especially because we're on special teams all the time anyway. So you got to be able to transition from special teams to defense. But yeah it's just getting used to different play calls. Obviously offense is longer than defense and kind of going through that progression.

Chambliss: What has it been like just sitting in that room and kind of learning with those guys after being mostly defense?

Chambliss: I mean it makes sense because I mean you think about plays that we have on defense and kind of how they marry up with how we're trying to influence the offense in certain sets. So it's just course we can both sides and kind of learn more.

Chambliss: So I was actually chatting a little bit with CJ Hamm during the game and he said that last year he kind of joked like hey like you should give this a try and then you let him know like it is something that you had done before. I guess you know what was it like to have CJ kind of say he saw something in you that you could maybe do for that?

Chambliss: I mean it feels great obviously. Pro bowler, great fullback, great player, great person. You know it means the world to me pretty much.

Chambliss: Sorry. He said he reached out to you yesterday just to kind of give me. You said he was watching the game tonight and was like pumped to see him make that catch. You know anything else to add on what that means?

Chambliss: It means the world obviously. You taught me a lot last year, kind of taught me how to be a pro. You know everybody would never be able to repay him. Thank you so much.
