Moore: Around things talk about let's just open up. Yeah, they're just working through some stuff that again this a week that you know for some guys they can get healthy and we'll just see how begin next week. It looks for those two, but they're progressing well.
Moore: Whisk injured just a little bit banged up coming out of that game and then a little bit soreness.
Moore: No, Doug was saying yesterday that Travis was coming out of a draft but there was kind of a reception of him that he was maybe just like a passing pass that you're running back and that that's really kind of evolved when watching his stapling.
Moore: Was there like a moment that you felt like? Hey, he's really turned into an all-around back or kind of shed that legal anything?
Moore: I think we're always trying to chase these matchup players in these trendy little positions and sometimes we can follow a victim of trying to you know, throw people into those positions.
Moore: I think Travis of pure running back as it is I watched him loosely from afar while he started his career in Jacksonville studying his film last year. The zone running scheme the way he kind of ran and I thought he did an excellent job.
Moore: He had like good little mix of duo a couple, you know perimeter run some gap schemes. He had a good variety there, but I thought it was all the extra yards that he was able to gain in some of the run game.
Moore: You know broken tackle or finding something on the backside. I just think he has a really good vision and he was really productive last year.
Moore: Yeah said good player obviously watch this film from Cleveland he had he had a good good role there.
Moore: I think you know, we can add him to that room add him to the mix and he'll be a good piece to you.
Moore: You know, we got like said he's coming in we got to develop them we got to get them acclimated to the system and all that sort of stuff.
Moore: So there'll be a little bit, you know time on task for that, but he'll come around.
Moore: Yeah, probably just how you present thing from a personnel group standpoint. We still got plenty of guys there to help contribute. We'll be just fine there.
Moore: It's just a matter of who's who's where that you know you may have to play around with that a little bit more and be a little bit more conscious of that.
Moore: Yeah, I'd say credit to those guys Bryce and Barry on had an excellent training camp.
Moore: Kevin's always been just mr. Steady. You know Cropper I thought was impressive just getting him here and you know, and Trey's been steady for us.
Moore: He had the unfortunate injury there. So we have a lot of time on task with a number of these guys.
Moore: They know the system really well they can all play football at a high level and then we're able to add said I think which was a nice little little bonus for us.
Moore: Yeah, obviously he's played corner, but you know, he's I believe it was ten tackles on special teams.
Moore: So he does have that ability to even if he's not a starter contribute to our football team in the kickoff coverage unit the punt unit.
Moore: So that'll be beneficial for him as he kind of learns and gets acclimated to the defensive system.
Moore: Hopefully he can get acclimated to our special team system as well quickly and provide some depth there.
Moore: Do you get a sense as you're going through the roster? Hey, this is last year was hard. This is even harder because this roster has grown?
Moore: Yeah, I think there's a lot of hard parts to it. There's obviously I make decisions and we lost a few guys that I love.
Moore: I think the world of they're really good players. We lost a few of them also the timelines of some of these injuries as far as the IR no IR.
Moore: You know, you just gotta navigate all those pieces.
Moore: And so I think the big thing is you view it. It takes a few days as we've kind of seen we're kind of finally getting out of all that.
Moore: But it takes a few days your initial 53 and then there's some potential claims and IR moves and some guys kind of coming back to the roster.
Moore: And so it just takes a few days to kind of let the dust settle and you know what? You're obviously bummed when you lose a few guys.
Moore: But that's the unfortunate part of the reality of you know going from ninety to fifty three. You're gonna lose a few.
Moore: You had spoken before about the benefit of having this bonus week to get the team ready for the regular season.
Moore: What have you seen as far as just a little bit of growth with a roster now that it's set and settled in during this extra week?
Moore: Yeah, I think I think it's good. We're able to get on the field kind of focus on ourselves a little bit of week one in mind.
Moore: It's kind of a balancing act.
Moore: Yesterday, we still had some guys traveling in today we're pretty much, you know, most of the roster is out there and in some capacity.
Moore: And so I think it's good to get a little bit of work before we get into next week it kind of gets our shot show teams, you know slash scout teams that get to them kind of some experience.
Moore: Because for some of these guys, this is the first time they've done some scout team show team in a long time.
Moore: They were college stars probably everywhere they were and so now we're asking them to you know play a different defense play different offense.
Moore: So we got to train them to get ready to do that. Hopefully next week.
Moore: No, we'll see how begin next week we should have a good idea on him and Alvin.
