Moore: Tell us about Mr. King right here. He's so amazing. It's like his last name just fits him so perfectly. He went out there and did exactly what we expected, what we thought was going to happen. And it was so fun to see. You know, out of all my 10 years, I've never seen the ending of a game like that in a group season. And he just helped my 10th career. He just helped me, just with that. Greatest Hall of Fame game, maybe? Ever. Since we started the Hall of Fame, that was one of the best ones for sure.
Reporter: What was it about the offense that was able to kind of click and really push the ball downfield tonight? Was it Brad, quarterbacks, you guys, like everything?
Moore: I would say it was the whole thing, everybody, you know. Everything that we worked on in practice, you know. And saying what would happen as far as like the two-minute. And just knowing the plays, knowing what you were doing and going out there and executing. It was just everybody working together. And seeing it all come together was a beautiful thing. So I would say that would be one of the main things that kind of, you know, just sparked today.
Reporter: You've always been pretty good at identifying the talent that's going to come out of a team in this room. Y'all have gotten a lot of new faces in the wide receiver room the past few days, but who has sort of just stood out so far?
Moore: You know, he's been in the room. They've both been in the room. And then we added one. So I would say I knew Jimmy was going to come out and have a day if, you know, he got his off and he did. And I knew Metchie, you know, I knew I was going to come apart and he was going to go out and do his thing. And, you know, just seeing, just seeing all camp, you know, do what he do and go out there and make his plays and get his first touchdown, which was amazing. I would say those three right there, you know, those were the ones we expected, you know, kind of to go out there and do what they did.
Reporter: On paper, at least, it seems like Metchie kind of does some of the same things that you or Coker would do. Like, what is it that he can do to set himself apart in this often?
Moore: Get open and use his hands. He catches the ball really well and he can, you know, make a play when it comes his way. And that's kind of a big thing in this league. I mean, you can do those. You know, you can make a career out of that.
Reporter: Most people tune out by the time you get to the fourth quarter of the first preseason game. Did you stay locked in to all of this one, even on the sideline?
Moore: Old game, you know. As soon as Coach called me out, I wasn't really out. I was still in there, you know, just making sure the young guys, you know, got the play call, heard everything, and, you know, made sure, you know, they knew what they were doing. So, we locked in the whole time.
Reporter: So, on that note, what was the final play like from your point of view?
Moore: Iso. So, just watching how he went about the whole game and that last drive, the long play, the long run he had. Third and 14? Yeah. And he got third in what, 35, 40, something like that. I knew that last play when they called it. And he didn't look. I knew he was going to run it. So, I just kind of, you know, expected him to QB draw it and go out there and make a play. And it was beautiful to see.
Reporter: When he didn't look at the receiver?
Moore: For sure. When he's seen everything just open up, I knew he was going to run it. And it worked out well in his favor.
