LaFleur: Well, I think it all depends on how hard it's coming down. So I feel like every time we go to the Meadowlands, it's raining.
LaFleur: They're working through the protocol. We'll see where they're at.
LaFleur: Yeah, I think he's a player that's got a lot of potential, a young player that's got a lot of potential. He comes in with the right mindset and attitude and has gotten better each and every day.
LaFleur: He did well. He had a good practice.
LaFleur: We'll see. We've got to see him through today and see where he's at.
LaFleur: I think he comes in by being himself and earning the respect of his teammates by his actions. He's done exactly that. And I think the more he's been around these guys, it's not like I'd say early on you didn't hear him a lot. I think he was just trying to feel it out and prove it through his work. But certainly, I think the more he's gotten to know these guys, the more comfortable he's been. And he is a grown ass man.
LaFleur: I think it's been a good week. That's life in the NFL. Whether you get the result you want or not, you got to turn the page. And you can only do that by tackling each day, one day at a time.
LaFleur: I think when you're presented with some of those situations, you just got to play your rules. And I think sometimes what happens is guys freak out. And whether it could be a coach making a call, it could be whatever. You just got to play your rules. And especially early on in the season, you got to expect some unscouted looks. Some just, whether it's a unique personnel group, being unique formation, whatever it may be, and just play your rules.
LaFleur: Yeah, I think that's pretty standard every week is how do you go 1-0. I know it's boring, probably, to everybody. But it's just the mindset I firmly believe that you need to have in order to have any type of success in this league.
LaFleur: Yeah, I mean, yeah, sometimes you feel like, I would say typically is the defensive call sheet usually shrinks a little bit. So you kind of get a feel for what you're going to see. And then you can play off of that. But I think the way the NFL is going now, you've got to be prepared for that because a lot of teams are running a ton of 13 personnel.
