Brown: Grit, I don't think there's any more grit than that one play victory there at the end you start going through, how that to you? I mean, it was, you know, it was a rubber out. Jared do it, and I knew the defender was going to be right there, but he threw a great ball. I made a good catch, and he was there, and he was able to get an end zone, it was a good play.

Brown: What was the mindset going out there for overtime? You know you've got to set the tone. Yeah, I feel like we have like one of these a year. We had one in 24 versus the Rams, Sunday night football here, had one last year versus Giants here, and then we have this one this year. So, hopefully it's our last overtime game of the year, but I feel like we're going every year, and that was one of them.

Brown: I mean, they came out, they came out strong. I feel like it was back and forth all game. Defense, you know, got on a heater there. We turned to some points. They started coming back, scoring, scoring, and it was just back and forth, and we were able to make the last play.

Brown: Your first touchdown was like a heck of a round. It looked like you stuck your foot in the ground and lost to him. How did you see that one develop? Yeah, it was just, you know, I still don't know really what happened. They said he was on the ground, but I was just trying to get open, make the play. Just a dagger, just, you know, inside, inside. Jared threw a great ball. I mean, if you watch the tape, it looked like he was ahead from away from getting sacked. It was crazy, but it was a great, you know, great play call, and we executed it.

Brown: What did it mean to watch that defense close it out there at the end? It meant a lot. I mean, you kind of feel hopeless on the sideline as an offense because that's the last part of the game. If they get it, they win. If they don't, we win. And as our defense played a heck of a game, I'm proud of them. All those guys, man, it was fun watching, being able to watch them play after going against them every single day in training game for the past five weeks.

Brown: I don't think, for me, it's got to just give you an appreciation for the difference between winning and losing. This locker room's a lot different if you don't finish that game off.

Brown: 100%, I think, you know, obviously, you know, we wish we would have changed some things in that game, executed some plays better, but at the end of the day, it's the first game. It's always going to be a little bit sloppier than you expect, but as long as you can come out and get a dub in this league, it's hard. I don't care who you're playing, it's tough to get dubbies in this league, and we were able to finish out on top, which is the biggest thing.

Brown: Just playing from sort of in Toronto, like 22 yards, were you surprised that you guys weren't, I guess, a little bit more explosive, I guess, in this game, given what kind of skill you're playing as well? Yeah, I mean, they played, they had a good game plan on defense. Looked like they were playing a lot of, you know, too high, a lot of shell, to limit our explosives on offense with, you know, in the past game. I think, you know, we ran the bar pretty well. I don't know how many yards Jameer had, but I mean, it was, yeah, it was week one. We didn't really know what to expect, but they had a good game plan. I'm just glad we were to finish out on top.

Brown: Overall, Jameer had 30-plus touches in this game. Can you speak to what he was able to do as kind of his first time out there? Yeah, he's a beast. I mean, you watch what he does. I mean, that whole last drive, he damn it took us down all the way. It was Jameer, Jameer, Jameer, Jameer, Jameo, me. To have a guy like that, I mean, he doesn't get tired. I don't know how he does it. He's running the ball at every play, catching out the backfield, and he's still, I'm looking in the huddle, and he's not even breathing hard. I'm like, I don't know how he does it, but... We're lucky. I'm so lucky to play with him. We're lucky to have him on our team, and we're going to need him throughout this whole year.

Brown: How do you feel, Jameer? Come on, guys. Oh, good. I mean, he can do it all. He's versatile. There's a reason why he's the highest-paid running back in this league, is because he can do everything, and like I said, we're lucky to have him on our team.

Brown: When did you think you guys did the offensive league? What were the things you think you guys can work on? What kind of game did you think? You know, I think, you know, less three-and-outs. You know, I think we had one turnover, taking care of the football, and just trying to stay out of second, third, and longs. I think we had a lot of this game. Obviously, I need to watch the tape and really see what really happened, but just from being out there, I feel like we had some third and longs that we could negate from just being better on second down and first down.

Brown: I don't know how good we were in the red zone. It felt like we were pretty decent. I feel like, you know, that one, before the end of the game, we should have finished. We had a penalty that kind of took us back, but I just feel like overall, as an offense, we all could have been better, me included. But it's week one. I think that's expected, you know, kind of going live, complete full live against another team for the first time, it's kind of like that, but we just got to keep improving. That's the biggest thing.
