Daniels: Yeah, touchdown, I mean, Antonio made a hell of a grab. He made some big plays this game and super happy for him, the work that he put in and to see. And the biggest moments, guys can make plays like that, man. He showed just all the work that he put in and the type of player that he was and how they scouted him throughout the draft. So super excited to continue to build with him for the future.
Daniels: Two point play, man, we just didn't execute. It's the right call, anything Blau called, man, I'm with him. So regardless, however everybody else might want to view it, man, I'm with Blau 100%.
Daniels: It was an option, but I got to do my job too, the defensive end played up the field. We had the look that we wanted, we just didn't execute it.
Daniels: I would say we stopped shooting ourself in the foot, being the third in the longs. And especially it gets a really good defense like that, especially away. You don't want to play in third in the longs and let that crowd and that defense feast and rally to the ball. So, like I said, we shot ourself in the foot too many times. And we came back and honored us at the end of the game.
Daniels: I think just as an offense, it's hard to get into a rhythm going three and out. And we're shooting ourself in the foot, playing third in the long. But, man, obviously the loss sucks. You don't want to come out here and lose, but credit to Philly. But, man, I'm just, God bless, happy to play football again.
Daniels: I think there's just a respect to Terry. A lot of safety help to Terry's side, clouding, playing that. So they executed their plan to how they wanted to play Terry. And yeah, we just got to be able to prepare for stuff like that. And figure out how to get Terry the ball. But in the biggest moments when we needed Terry, I showed up on that fourth and two as a big conversion, stuff like that. So it's just learning and just building and going from here.
Daniels: We got to know situation, situational football. That's on me for not reiterating that in the huddle. So we just got to be smart. This is a time and place for everything in celebrations. I'm pretty sure at that point we do one for two. You know, had it set up for the extra point. But as the leader and the captain, man, I put that on myself for not reiterating that in the huddle.
Daniels: I think they did a good job. I mean, I think you could see the growth to myself of stuff wasn't there. Not taking the sack, throwing the ball away and giving us a chance on second and ten or whatever, third and ten, instead of having third or 15 and stuff like that. So I think it's just learning from everybody. They did a great job of giving me time. And as they gave me time, we hit passes down the field and stuff like that. But that's also a really good front that they went up against, one of the best in the league.
Daniels: I mean, yeah, I think so. It's been a long time since I played football. Long time since, started a game from start to finish. So I'm just blessed and happy to be here and continue to move on and get ready for Dallas next week.
Daniels: It's kind of like the same thing that Marcus said to me my rookie year, when we lost to Tampa week one. It's a long season and it's as it flows of a season. And I'm not gonna say, look, we're winning the Super Bowl this year. But Seattle last year started off on one. And you see what they did. It's all about catching a rhythm and continue to build. It's ebbs and flows in the season. And you gotta take the lessons that you learn from different losses.
Daniels: It's natural, I mean, kind of, but yeah, it's natural. It's just protecting the team. And when the plays are there to be made with me scrambling and using my legs, go out there and make the plays. But if there's nothing there, don't try to force anything. If Scramble drill is not open and guys, they're playing good coverage on the back and in the second play, man, throw the ball away. And, lucky, I mean, I'm kind of proud of myself for that. But it's still a lot to go, still a lot to learn from that.
Daniels: To get ready for Dallas and get ready for week two and continue just to build and get better each and every day and find, continue to build on my rhythm.
Daniels: Yeah, I think it's still stuff to work on, but that's just game one things, offensively, defensively, special teams. I'm pretty sure Philly would say the same thing. It's still a lot to learn from game one and game 14, stuff like that. You're not gonna be as clean, you try to be clean as possible. But you can't shoot yourself in the foot on little things like that. But communicating, we're out there, we communicate as much as possible. Try to get up there, get set, get in and out the hole. But it's still a process, and you gotta take it day by day.
Daniels: Thank you.
